The neoprene has an SCS Glide coating, which reduces water resistance and improves glide. The thickest 4 mm Yamamoto neoprene is reinforced with arena's own Carbon Fiber compression technology, which has been used in arena racing swimsuits for a long time. Compression supports the muscles while swimming and helps maintain an optimal swimming position even when tired. The 4 mm neoprene is also Airlock laminated, where air is sealed between the neoprene layers using a mesh fabric. Top-class neoprene absorbs very little water. The fabric weighs almost the same in water as it does when dry. This improves the fabric's warmth and flexibility compared to thicker wetsuits, which absorb more water. Limestone neoprene contains over 30% more air bubbles at the molecular level compared to oil-based neoprenees. The thickest, 4 mm neoprene is in the core area, thighs, and buttocks, which stabilizes and improves the suit's buoyancy. The 3 mm #39 Yamamoto neoprene on the upper chest, back, back of the thighs, and calves keeps you warm and helps the legs stay near the surface. 3 mm neoprene optimally combines flexibility and buoyancy. The thinnest, flexible 1.5 mm #40 Yamamoto neoprene is in the arms and shoulders, which gives excellent freedom of movement for the arms, helps maintain good mobility and clean movement paths, and reduces water resistance during strokes. The cuffs and leg openings are made of flexible 1.5 mm neoprene, which makes the suit easier to put on and take off.
