Beginner's equipment
✅ Swimming board
Breathing and kicking exercises play a big role in learning the basics of swimming. Here, an excellent aid is a swimming board, which makes it much easier to first separately learn, for example, the kick of breaststroke or freestyle with a board, than to swim directly. In addition, you can practice free swimming breathing with the one-handed swimming exercise without panicking that you won't stay afloat when you have a swim board for support. ✅ Fins
If the freestyle kick feels particularly difficult or if it slows down your development in other areas, then fins are your training tool! With fins, you can make your kick more efficient and firmer, so you can concentrate better on combining the hand stroke and breathing, for example. Check out the models here.
✅ Snorkel
Does breathing interfere with the development of other areas? If so, training with a snorkel is worthwhile. Snorkeling "eliminates" breathing so that you can focus better on other areas such as kicking or arm pulling. Check out the models here .
