Value added tax is paid to Åland Post when the package is picked up or delivered home.
You can send as an alternative
- Clear customs online or authorize another person to clear customs for you in the Personal Customer import customs service .
- Fill in the customs form and send the notification information to Customs by e-mail or post. Fill in and sign the customs form 1105e . Instructions for filling out the form here. Send the scanned forms by secure email to lomaketullaus@tulli.fi
- Clear customs at the customs office.
- You can pay VAT at a Post office in Mariehamn.
If you have returned the product, apply for a VAT refund from customs:
- If you have cleared customs in the Personal Customer's import customs service and your customs clearance is complete, you can apply for a correction in the Personal Customer's import customs service. The customs clearance is stored in the "My customs clearances" section of the service for 90 days.

2. Attach to the form the original customs decision, the invoice and the credit receipt you received by email from Aquaction.fi.
