Orca Men's wetsuit Athlex is a combination of flexibility and buoyancy, a completely new suit in our range, ideal for the swimmer who wants flexibility first and foremost. This wetsuit uses a differentiated neoprene for optimum buoyancy. The neoprene used is thinner in the upper body area and thicker in the leg area to allow the swimmer to maintain a wide range of motion and a sense of freedom in the hand stroke.
This wetsuit is specifically designed for swimmers who already have the basic technique down and can maintain a swimming position in open water without major technique challenges, even during oxygen deprivation.
The Flex series suits are therefore made for the swimmer who primarily wants flexibility in a wetsuit to maintain kicking technique, as too much buoyancy can lift the legs too much above the water surface. This series has less buoyancy than the float series. This allows the swimmer to achieve a sense of freedom in the water, but the suit keeps the swimmer warm, making swimming more comfortable.
