Speedo racing suit models
LZR Pure Valor racing suit
The Pure Valor suit is developed for longer distances and thanks to the new structure, the suit feels light on the body and has a stretchy fabric.
This racing suit is available in the original Pure Valor model and the updated Pure Valor 2.0 model.
The Pure Valor suit is available in a regular and high waisted model for men, and in both open and closed back models for women. The fabric of the suit has been developed with a special focus on hydrodynamic properties, which are intended to improve movement control and power generation. The suit has a compression level of 3 and, like all our competition suits, it is FINA approved.
In the 2.0 model you will also find
- LAMORAL® Space Tech coating technology, also used on NASA space satellites, gives the Valor 2.0 a water-repellent treatment that is up to 6 times more durable than its predecessor.
LZR Pure Valor features
- Lightweight and stretchy fabric. Medium compression provides muscle support and helps you stay on track over longer distances. Flatlock seams and precise finishing for improved hydrodynamic properties.
- The women's suit features shaped armholes for a better fit and highly elastic shoulder straps for maximum flexibility during performance.
- Compression seams on the inner thighs in both men's and women's suits improve muscle endurance.
LZR Pure Intent racing suit
This race suit is specially developed for sprint races and is a high compression suit. The race suit is available in both men's and women's models. A closed-back model is also available for women. The compression level of the suit is level 4 on a scale of 1-5.
This racing suit is available in the original Pure Intent model and the updated Pure Intent 2.0 model.
The fabric's 2-layer compression construction and ergonomic seams target compression to key muscle groups. The fabric's 3-piece technology is designed to reduce water resistance and increase compression and flexibility.
In the 2.0 model you will also find
- LAMORAL® Space Tech coating technology, which has also been used on NASA space satellites. Thanks to this coating, the 2.0 suit has even better glide and water repellency than its predecessor.
- Patterned areas on the front and back of the suit reduce water resistance and allow for smoother movement.
Pure Intent suit features
- The women's suit has comfortable shoulder straps and better flexibility. The women's competition suit has soft straps that make it easier to put on and reduce pressure on the shoulders. The elastic areas on the sides of the competition suit ensure a freer kick and controlled movement.
- Tight waist panel on men's suit. Tight and comfortable waist panel with a firm grip reduces water ingress during the race.
- Improved performance and efficiency. The fabric's 2-layer technology and ergonomic seams create compression for the muscle groups that are most important for performance. The fabric technology is based on seams and knit.
LZR Ignite
The Speedo LZR Ignite race suit is suitable for swimmers of all ages and levels - from their first race start.
The model has light compression and a fitted design that ensures a comfortable feeling for long race days.
The surface material uses the same water-repellent technology as Speedo's top-of-the-line Intent and Valor models.
The men's racing suit has a snug waist panel and the women's model has well-fitting straps and an open back.

These tips will help you properly maintain your suit
- Due to the compression, putting on the competition uniform can take up to 20 minutes, so allow yourself enough time to get dressed.
- Roll the silicone gripper around the legs so that it doesn't stick to your skin when you put it on. This makes putting it on much easier.
- The hip area is the most difficult part of dressing and takes the most time.
- Do not pull on the thinnest fabric structures of the suit, as this may damage the suit!
- Rinse the suit with cold water immediately after use. Chlorine will damage the fabric and its properties in the long term.
- Never place a suit on a radiator to dry.
- Spread to dry after each use.
- Using the suit only in competitions will significantly extend its lifespan.
