Why choose a safety buoy?

An air-filled safety buoy increases the visibility and safety of an open water swimmer in open water. The buoy's bright color is visible to other water users, such as boaters, from a distance.

You can take the safety buoy with you on a swimming trip when it is empty and fill it up at the beach. When empty, the buoy fits neatly into a small space.

Many buoys have a waterproof inner pocket, which is perfect for safely carrying small items such as car keys while swimming.

How is a buoy used?

Start using the buoy by filling the waterproof pocket with the items you want, such as car keys or a snack. Then inflate the buoy's float using the one-way valve. You can leave the float a little soft, as this will seal the buoy as tightly as possible. Finally, wrap the edge of the buoy a few times and close the edge clip.

Tip! Protect your electronic devices with a second layer of protection, such as a Minigrip bag.

The safety buoy is attached to the swimmer's waist with an adjustable belt, allowing it to float on the swimmer's back without interfering with swimming movements. Attach the belt to the waist firmly, but so that it does not squeeze unpleasantly. Adjust the distance of the buoy from the body so that it floats lightly on the back.

While swimming, the buoy can be used as a float to rest if you need extra support in the water for a while. Please note, however, that the buoy is not a life-saving device.
