Aquaction Cold Water Swimming Socks 2.5 mm Neoprene – New Improved Model
Aquaction's updated (2025) neoprene cold water swimming sock has been developed to provide even better grip, warmth, and comfort for cold water swimming.
Special attention has been paid to fit and ankle protection in the design, so that the sock feels more supportive and stays in place even in slippery conditions.
Stay warm and stable when entering cold water. Aquaction's neoprene cold water swimming socks are designed for cold water swimming and other water sports where warmth, protection, and a secure grip are needed.
The sock is made of 2.5 mm thick SBR neoprene, which effectively insulates against cold while feeling flexible and snug on the foot. Flatlock seams (flat seam technology) make the sock comfortable against the skin – without abrasive thick seams.
Features:
- Grippy sole – The Grip sole provides reliable traction on docks and rocks.
- Slightly longer shaft – protects the ankle and prevents water from entering the sock.
- 2.5 mm SBR neoprene – warms, flexes, and fits snugly on the foot.
- Flatlock seams (flat seam technology) – comfortable and durable, do not chafe the skin.
- Design – fits well on the foot and stays in place even when swimming.
Aquaction cold water swimming socks are suitable for cold water swimming, open water swimming, SUP boarding, and other water activities where you need warm and supportive feet even in cool conditions.
Material: 2.5 mm SBR neoprene
Seams: Flatlock (flat seam technology)
Use: Cold water swimming, open water swimming, SUP boarding, water sports
What is the difference between the 2.5 sock and the 2.4 sock?
The Aquasocks 2.5 sock has heat-sealed seams and no stitching, so its waterproofness and warmth are greater compared to the 2.4 sock.

What ice swimming equipment do you need?
For a beginner, just a swimsuit is often enough, but most ice swimmers recommend at least neoprene ice swimming gloves and socks, as hands and feet cool down fastest in cold water. We believe that quality equipment is key, and we want to help our customers find just the right products. This is why we have developed our own product brand, so we can offer high-quality, functional, and affordable equipment to the market that meets the needs of different user groups.
Based on this, we refined the know-how accumulated over the years into the Aquaction product line. Our product line has been developed by swimmers for swimmers, and each product is carefully designed to meet the needs and expectations of users. Check out our ice swimming gloves and ice swimming socks and order yours.
How often should a beginner go ice swimming?
Many start with 1–2 short dips of a few seconds or a minute per week, gradually extending the time as their body acclimatizes to the cold.
