W Powerskin Veloce Open back, an open-back women's racing swimsuit. Part of the Midnight Chrome Limited Edition collection.
Veloce is a versatile new suit suitable for all swimming disciplines and distances. The suit meets the needs of swimmers who prioritize maximum comfort without compromising on compression. It supports the muscles and allows ample freedom of movement.
The suit's Hyperforce™ fabric is tension-elastic (tension + elasticity); the fabric is firm yet flexible. Veloce combines all-over medium compression, durability, and completely new flexibility. The suit feels comfortable and does not restrict movement.
The Hyperforce™ fabric has a flow-directing surface that reduces water resistance and improves glide. The fabric is made of naturally water-repellent TPU fibers, which partially improves hydrodynamics. Thanks to the material, the suit can be recycled at the end of its service life.
The front of the suit features the X-tape construction inside the suit, familiar from the Arena Carbon Glide suit. The X-shaped taping supports and stabilizes the core and connects the upper body to the hips. The taping helps swimmers notice if their body rotates too far during the pull and returns it to an efficient, streamlined swimming position.
Supportive taping runs inside the suit over the buttocks and thighs at the back. The taping lifts the hips and legs, facilitates leg extension, and helps maintain the correct swimming position when fatigued. The lift from the taping is particularly noticeable during turns and dolphin kicks.
The new Flex-Max straps are wider. Equipped with a flexible base and edge, the straps stay flat against the shoulders without folding. The greater width allows for better pressure distribution, which reduces shoulder (subscapularis) strain and minimizes restrictions. The result is improved mobility, reduced fatigue, and increased overall comfort. Silicone tape at the leg opening keeps the leg in place.
The flexible suit is easy to put on, which significantly speeds up race-day routines. Veloce can be put on in five minutes, whereas putting on a traditional racing swimsuit can take 30-45 minutes. However, choose the same size as your previous Arena racing swimsuit or follow the size chart. The speed of putting on the suit does not indicate how the size fits. The flexible Veloce is comfortable to wear while still providing higher compression.
Veloce is available in two different lengths, depending on the length of the upper body. The longer length is available in sizes 30-34.

Competition suit model selection
Competition suit model selection
Choosing the right competition swimsuit can feel challenging, especially when purchasing your first one. The suitable suit depends on the swimmer's age, competition level, body proportions, and personal preferences. You can find help choosing a competition suit model in our selection guides.
Choosing the right competition suit size
Choosing the right competition suit size
A racing suit's size is primarily chosen based on the measurements provided in the manufacturer's size chart. We recommend measuring the circumferences required by the size chart and comparing them to the product-specific size chart before placing an order.
Racing suits are designed to fit very snugly, so a new suit may feel tighter than usual during the first few fittings. A suit that is too large will not provide the intended compression or optimal performance in the water.
If your measurements fall between two sizes, the choice will depend on both your body proportions and the desired fit. As a general rule, we always recommend choosing a size that accommodates all your measurements. If needed, our customer service will assist you in selecting the appropriate size.
