M Powerskin Primo Jammer, men's racing swimsuit
Primo is the world's first tenso-elastic competition swimsuit. Primo combines effective compression and particularly good elasticity in a new way. The suit supports the muscles and gives plenty of room for movement. The versatile new suit is suitable for all swimming disciplines and races.
The suit is the result of several years of development and research by Arena, carried out in close collaboration with top swimmers. The suit is unlike any previous competition suit, as it is a completely new technology based on textile innovation. The word Primo means first in Italian.
The suit's new Hyperforce™ fabric is tenso-elastic (tension + elasticity); the fabric is firm but flexible. Primo combines the highest compression, durability and a completely new type of stretch throughout. Primo feels comfortable to wear and does not restrict movement.
The Hyperforce™ fabric has a flow-directing surface that reduces water resistance and improves glide. The fabric is made of naturally water-repellent TPU fiber, which contributes to the suit's hydrodynamics and its durability. The material allows the suit to be recycled at the end of its useful life.
The suit has sturdy taping on the backside and back thighs inside the suit. The taping lifts the hips and legs, making it easier to straighten the leg and maintain the correct swimming position when tired. The lift of the taping can be noticed especially during turns and dolphin kicks.
The stretchy jammer is easy to put on, which speeds up your race day routine significantly. The Primon can be put on in five minutes, compared to up to 45 minutes for a traditional competition swimsuit. Still, choose the same size as your previous Arena competition swimsuit or follow the size chart, as you will only feel the compression in the water.
The waist of the jammer is elastic and the height of the waist can be adjusted. The waist can be kept high or low according to your preference. The elastic waist reduces pressure on the hips and the tightening straps of the suit. The legs have added length to improve sliding. A silicone band at the leg opening keeps the leg in place.
